Lacey welcomes students ages 10 and up. Students benefit from lessons in Lacey’s own private voice studio, a dedicated space designed for focused, personalized instruction with no rental studio fee to the student. With her full music library, optimized acoustics, and professional equipment, each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual needs. This consistent, distraction free environment allows Lacey to provide full attention, helping students develop healthy vocal technique, artistic expression, and confident performance skills in a safe and supportive setting.

As a certified Music Educator, Lacey is fully fingerprinted and up to date with all required clearances.

Philosophy

Lacey specializes in both classical and contemporary commercial music styles, including Classical, Musical Theater (Contemporary/Golden Age/Legit), and Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM). Her approach balances strong technical foundation with artistic expression, ensuring students develop healthy, sustainable vocal habits for a lifetime of singing.

She guides high school students through the college audition process with a clear, step by step strategy from repertoire selection to final auditions. Lacey equips her students not only with vocal technique but also with confident stage presence and musicianship. She is a supportive, motivating instructor dedicated to helping each student reach their highest potential. Her teaching emphasizes vocal health, freedom from tension, and sustainable technique. By combining a solid technical foundation with artistic exploration, Lacey cultivates expression, confidence, and individuality in every singer. Students learn not only how to sing well, but how to perform with authenticity and presence.

Teaching Experience

Based in Saint James, New York, Lacey teaches a wide range of musical styles, including musical theatre, contemporary commercial music, and classical voice. For over eleven years, she has maintained her own private voice studio, complete with her own music library, working with students ranging from beginners to adults. Lacey began teaching privately after earning her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Adelphi University.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours notice for any lesson cancellations or reschedules are required by text or phone call. Any cancel given less than 24 hours notice is considered a late cancel and will be charged for the full amount of the lesson.
